The Public Services Department is responsible for the safety of the museum collection and visitors during open hours. This department also provides essential visitor services. The other primary duties of this department are as follows: ensure the safety of all exhibition halls, indoor and open-air visiting areas, and pieces of the collection on show; inspect gate openings and closings for visiting and restricted areas; maintain order among visitors; provide timely information regarding guide information, closures, personnel changes, and other essential services; oversee security, display, and management inspections during open hours; ensure smooth operations for visits by prestigious guests, large-scale events, and filming; manage and supervise janitorial services and sanitation; and administrate the hiring, examination, and training of personnel.
