The Human Resources Department is responsible for the personnel of the Palace Museum. The primary duties of this department are as follows: manage personnel quotas; assist managerial offices in the editing of personnel quotas based on need; review and process decisions on personnel appointments and removal; plan internal organizational strategies; regulate work reports and file related paperwork; manage the hiring or potential employees; organize the hiring of middle-level staff; evaluate the professional credentials of all technical personnel; manage staff education and training; coordinate staff replacements in the cases of resignation, retirement, and other circumstances; resolve the issue of the spouses of museum personnel residing in different cities due to employment; manage salary distribution and other remuneration; coordinate employee benefits and related issues; administrate protocols related to museum personnel travelling domestically or abroad for personal or business related purposes; and ensure the smooth operation of daily museum business.
