The Finance Office centrally manages the national assets and monetary workings of the Palace Museum. The primary responsibilities of this office are as follows: formulate, manage, and supervise the Museum’s yearly budget; instruct and supervise internal departments of independent and semi-independent financial accounting; prepare financial reports; manage museum accounting, monetary allotment, and related operations; manage the accounting of the Museum’s fixed assets; administrate tax-related operations; manage invoices; implement government procurements in compliance with the law; administrate entrance tickets and related operations; gather statistics for ticket income and throughput; settle accounts with travel agencies for tours in the Museum; and oversee museum-owned enterprises.
