Merchandising Supervision Department
The primary duties of the Merchandising Supervision Department are as follows: research and establish commercial management regulations; formulate development strategies for cultural industries; organize the development and distribution of the Museum’s products; oversee the daily operations of museum-wide commercial operations; ensure the unified management of museum-owned commercial entities; administrate commercial cooperative efforts; manage the development of non-commercial assets into commercial assets; manage operations related to commercial investments and assets; and manage operations related to the commercial proprietary rights of the Museum and “The Palace Museum” and “The Forbidden City” brands.
