The Administrative Services manages logistics for the Palace Museum. The primary responsibilities of this office are as follows: ensure quality logistics management and services; ensure the daily provision and proper operation of all water, electric, and heating and cooling utilities; promote and implement resource and energy saving procedures; conduct real estate transactions, rental services, and property management according to national regulations; provide internal and external transportation for personnel; provide office furniture and supplies; manage subsidies for telephone, heating, and other services; manage waste disposal services; manage health services and family planning programs for museum personnel; administrate essential communication services; manage the cafeterias, showering facilities, civil air defense works, and the Changli training center; supervise the overall museum-wide environment and essential bulletins; manage the moats and waterways of the Museum; maintain employee and visitor restrooms; cooperate in the promotion of the spirit of development and patriotic sanitation; coordinate blood drives and Red Cross Society of China aid efforts; and assist in essential services for visitors.
