The Department of Heritage Architectural Technologies is responsible for the renovation and conservation of the Palace Museum’s heritage architecture. This office is entrusted with the design and execution of heritage architecture projects, project approvals, technical paperwork, and other project related services. Other duties of this department are as follows: devise safety protocols for construction projects; supervise construction safety; oversee the purchase of construction materials and building supplies; coordinate with other departments; ensure the building standards of all structures and essential infrastructure meet national requirements; cooperate with national building standard inspectors; and manage all construction related documents.
