The Department of Conservation and Craftsmanship of Heritage Architecture is responsible for preserving, inheriting, and researching the official architectural craftsmanship of the Palace Museum, as well as ancient building restoration projects. It also conducts research on palace horticulture and the protection of ancient trees.
