I. Primary Users
Individuals with physical disabilities, primarily those with visual impairments.
People with disabilities, senior citizens, and young children whose physical abilities are not yet fully developed. These groups may experience difficulty in accessing information in daily life or work.
Users with specific needs: Individuals without disabilities who have specific needs also benefit from accessible web content and compatible assistive technologies, ensuring they can access all information online.
II. Accessibility Features Overview
Our accessibility features include both a Visual Assistance Toolbar and a Text-to-Speech Reader.
Visual Assistance Toolbar
This toolbar helps users, particularly those with visual impairments, customize their viewing experience by adjusting text size, using an auxiliary cursor, modifying color schemes, and accessing a dedicated reading panel.
1. Activate/Deactivate Visual Assistance Toolbar
Upon entering the website, users will find a “Visual Assistance Toolbar” button within the top navigation bar of the homepage. Click this button to toggle the Visual Assistance Toolbar on or off.
2. Reading Mode
Click the “Reading Mode” button to switch between word-by-word and continuous reading modes.
3. Page Color Scheme
Click the “Color Scheme” button to change the page’s color contrast. Available options include: Default, Black on White, Yellow on Blue, Black on Yellow, and Yellow on Black.
4. Zoom In/Out
Click the “Zoom In” button to enlarge both the entire page layout and the text font size.
Click the “Zoom Out” button to reduce the size of the page layout and the text font size.
5. Large Cursor
Click the “Large Cursor” button to toggle between the default cursor and a high-visibility large cursor.
6. Crosshair Cursor
Click the “Crosshair Cursor” to overlay a red, cross-shaped reading guide on the page. This helps users with visual impairments to align and track text.
7. Reading Panel (Magnifier)
Click the “Reading Panel” to activate a dedicated magnification area at the bottom of the page. Text pointed at by the cursor will be automatically displayed there in a larger font for easier reading.
8. Shortcut
Click the “Shortcut” button to create a shortcut for the current webpage, enabling quick access from your local device.
9. Screen Reader Mode
Click the “Screen Reader Mode” button to enable section-based navigation, which divides the website into six areas: Navigation, Viewport, Interaction, Services, List, and Text.
Text-to-Speech
Text-to-Speech supports word-by-word reading, continuous reading, and personalized voice adjustments
1. Turn Voice On/off
Click the “Voice” button to turn the voice on or off.
2. Speech Rate Adjustments
Click the “Speech Rate” button to adjust the reading speed. The available options are: Faster, Normal, and Slower.
