Constantly Strengthening and Deepening Efforts Green Branding

Since the project’s inception, over 200 distinguished international and Chinese guests have visited the Forbidden City, gained an understanding of the progress and triumphs of the Zero Waste Palace Museum project and discussed practices and experiences of green museum development.

Additionally, the Zero Waste Palace Museum project and themes have increasingly appeared in critical international symposia such as the Conference of the Parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change as well as on key media platforms.


Indeed, it has become the Palace Museum’s newest calling card displaying “Vermillion Walls and Verdant Scenery”.
